Hot (Weather) Fashion Tips from China

When the mercury hovers around 95 degrees (35C) in China, it’s officially hot, and outside it’s hard to escape the heat.

The local women (and a few men) carry reflective umbrellas to shade themselves from the harsh sun. Americans would do well to adopt this sun-safe and fashion-forward habit.

A fashion trend for men that hasn’t made it to the hot weather States yet is the half-T look. According to our guide, it’s illegal for men to completely remove their shirts, so this is the next best thing. We decided to go native and try it out:
